Creating Shortcuts

There are different types of shortcuts that can be created. Programs, files, folders, web sites are the most basic ones. You can also create shortcuts for control panels. Multishortcuts are for opening multiple shortcuts at once. You can also create shortcuts for other items, like Paint, Calculator, fonts folder and more.

There are two ways of creating shortcuts. The first one is using New Shortcut window. On the Main Menu, click New Shortcut to open this window.



You can create all types of shortcuts using this window. However, some advanced features become available after saving a shortcut. For example, parameters for programs are only available in the Shortcuts window. Also, color, visibility and window state options are only available in the Shortcuts window.



The second way to create a shortcut, is by dragging and dropping files, folders and programs over FTE's title.
